Raytown PD has been partnered with BAIR Analytics since 2010 and we are extremely pleased with the quality of the products and level of service and customer support that BAIR provides. After much research and testing of other similar products on the market, we found that the services offered by BAIR were a much better fit for our needs and provided more for our money than other products.
We use RAIDS Online for our public crime mapping and have received numerous positive compliments from Raytown citizens who are thankful that they have access to this information and how easy it is to use. We use both ATAC workstation and ATACRAIDS to identify patterns and trends in the data as well as provide COMPSTAT-like statistics to police administrators and decision makers. We especially like that everyone in the department has access to ATACRAIDS and that it can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection, including the patrol cars.
We’ve found that the products from BAIR fit seamlessly with our existing RMS and CAD products from Global Software and joining the two was easy to implement and maintain. BAIR is constantly improving and upgrading their products and we are extremely satisfied with BAIR Analytics and anticipate that our partnership will continue for many years to come.
I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks for the training course last week. It helped fill in a lot of blanks for what I am doing here at the Intel Center. Ironically enough, I sent the results of the final project to MTA and they’re actually going to utilize it and are requesting more information, so it’s uses are extending beyond that of the course.

We can provide a lot more information a lot quicker and a lot more detail to the public, and gather information from the public that we want to gather.
Many times, we have officers who work (four 10-hour shifts). They want to know what happened on their beat over the weekend. This keeps them connected when they return.
This is an excellent complement to our weekly e-mails on crimes and allows for the public to actually see what is going on and where it is occurring. We hope that this information can lead to solving some crimes by having that person see that a burglary or theft occurred on their street and recall seeing a suspicious person or car and report that to us.
I was happy to recommend RAIDS Online and even happier that it appears you may be getting another city.
This is a tremendous service for the general public. I am happy that the City of Springdale has subscribed to the service. It has already made me think more about locking my vehicles and house doors!
